TXAPA is proud to announce that we are again accepting nominations for the Eric Johnson Leadership and Service Award, which honors Eric Johnson's legacy. Eric was a valued TXAPA member, cherished friend, and mentor to many in our industry. His unwavering commitment to selfless service, tenacious pursuit of excellence in asphalt pavements, and devotion to the growth and success of those around him inspired the TXAPA Board of Directors to establish the Eric Johnson Leadership and Service Award. This prestigious accolade is presented annually to a TXAPA member who exemplifies servant leadership and has generously contributed their time, talents, and resources to benefit TXAPA and its community.

Nomination Process

  • Any TXAPA member can nominate another TXAPA member for consideration for the Eric Johnson Award.
  • The nomination form must be completed and submitted to Becky Schaeffer by Nov. 15, 2024.
  • The Board of Directors will review the nominees and select a winner.
  • We will honor the winner with a plaque given on Jan. 22, 2025, during the TXAPA Membership Meeting.
  • TXAPA will display the winner's name at the TXAPA office in Buda.
