3. Check carbon monoxide detectors
4. Insulate exposed pipes

Car:

1. Check the battery
2. Check the coolant
3. Check the tires
4. Have jumper cables
5. Have a blanket

Pets:

1. Bring pets inside
2. Provide shelter and fresh drinking water
3. Keep salt away from paws

Outside:

1. Dress for the condition
2. Limit your time outside
3. Check on others
4. Watch for signs of frostbite or hypothermia
