Since 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been the cornerstone of addressing the challenges faced by millions of Americans living with mental health conditions. The importance of mental health must echo into the construction industry to improve the industry’s overall mental health.

- The rate of mental health disorders doubles for those who have been to war, or a major disaster.
- People with mental health issues are generally non-violent. Only 3-5% of violent acts can be attributed to people with serious mental illness.
