The Texas A&M Transportation Institute and the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association are working with the Blinn College District to help build careers in the highway construction industry. You can take a 15-week course and jump-start your career.

The Highway Construction Workforce Partnership is a federal and state effort to ensure a highly skilled and trained workforce builds Texas roads. It’s a joint effort between the Federal Highway Administration’s Highway Construction Workforce Partnership and the Texas Department of Transportation’s Connect U2Jobs programs.

The Texas heavy highway construction industry provides an opportunity to earn excellent pay with plenty of room for advancement. Once you complete the course, you’re ready to get started! This 15-week course takes place at the RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas, and includes classroom and fieldwork. You’ll become familiar with all possible jobs in this rewarding industry.
