Voids in Mineral Aggregate

Voids in Mineral Aggregate (VMA) refers to the volume of void space (air pockets) between the aggregate particles of a compacted mix that includes both the VTM and the effective asphalt content, expressed as a percentage of the total volume of the compacted mixture.
